The reformer was invented by Pilates founder Joseph Pilates. It is a bed-like frame with a flat platform on it, called the carriage, which rolls back and forth on wheels within the frame. The carriage is attached to one end of the reformer by a set of springs.
Pilates Reformer is a Pilates training with a reformer machine. The movement is the same as Pilates but requires the reformer to slide forwards and backward while varying the intensity of resistance.
Aerial yoga is a type of yoga which uses a hammock or yoga swing to allow students to perform postures that they may not ordinarily be able to attempt on the yoga mat.
